The advantages of staying at home and going to the Zoo, instead of Safari
Many people will have the argument, you don’t need to fly around the world to see some animals, just drive down the road? You do have to remember that the zoo wont hold nearly as many different animals as Africa does. So let’s try and clear a few things up, let’s look at the advantages and disadvantages of the two.
We’ll start with the Zoo. Right off the bat, it is much, much cheaper. These animals are great, and the zoo gives everybody the chance to meet them, although they are behind bars or a sheet of glass. The chance to see these animals is rare, but a zoo offers this chance to everybody, in some cases you can actually interact with these animals (probably not the dangerous ones). It isn’t exactly that far to travel either is it. The distance between your house and the local Zoo probably isn’t that great, unfortunately a Safari is a bit of a mission. The fact that these animals are at your fingertips also offers an exciting, enjoyable and educational experience for everyone, taking your children couldn’t be easier.
So now let’s take a look at the Safari. Well, this is where it gets difficult for some people to understand how amazing these holidays are. This is a holiday that you only really need to go on once, but after you have been, you will want to go back again. The chance to see these animals in their true habitat and to experience life like they do. Hearing the roar of a lion may be intimidating in the wild, but is truly exciting as well. If you do consider splashing out the money for this you wont be disappointed, but you will have to leave the kids at home. You will hear astonishing stories that your guide will tell you about and some of them are considered luxury holidays.
Think carefully when you go to the zoo the next time, the more you see these animals in captivity the more you will want to see them in the wild, you never know you might end up wanting a Kenya safari!

Why can an aroma make you want to go on holiday to the Caribbean?
This is what happens when the recession comes in, companies need to find a different way to pull in potential customers and then convert. Travel agents have been using some exotic smells in their offices to help remind customers of what they are missing out on. All that these aromas are supposed to do, is just remind us of a previous holiday.
Encouraging people to book holidays can be a quite a task unless they have already made up their minds. But these new aromas in the office, although subtle may be enough to push someone over the line and into a holiday deal. These travel agents are using the smell of; oranges, and coconuts to create a different smelling experience for different places, oranges work well with the Mediterranean. Barbados holidays have benefited from all kinds of sales techniques; they seem to be one of the most popular holidays this year.
Thompson has claimed that Coconut is the best choice and used frequently throughout their shops. This particular smell is that of Sun Cream Lotion, a very clever way to get people thinking about the sun and the sea. First Choice have been a little more innovative with there smell, using that of ice cream to entice families on holiday. Caribbean holidays sales recently have been doing very well.
However it has not been the Travel Agent who has first come up with this idea to play with our noses to increase sales. So the travel agents didn’t come up with it, Travelodge did. In order to make there customers stay an easily remembered one, they used the aroma of apple pie or grass.
So how does this actually help them to boost sales? Well it is relatively clear; some smells can quickly call on the memory to remind us of times we have had in the past. Although these smells are noticeable it isn’t a conscious realisation that we are remembering this smell from somewhere else. Basically what happens is the Aroma causes an emotional response which triggers a subconscious memory of a past holiday. So try St Lucia holidays for that relaxing experience, and a relaxing new aroma!

Diving holidays can lead to all kinds of Exercise avenues when you get back!
People all across the world believe there is an epidemic with children becoming over-weight. Children in western modern countries are being criticised because they are getting to “fat”. Instead of making people feel uncomfortable about their weight, especially children, we should be trying to find new ways to improve it.
Everybody says that we do our bit for our children to help them eat healthily. So diets aren’t the only thing that can help, the best solution is entertaining exercise. What is there that we can do to try and make them lose weight and still have a good time?
Well the one easiest way to do this, is to get them trying something that they enjoy. Try and get them into a form of exercise, but make sure that it doesn’t really look like exercise. Now Diving is one example, although expensive abroad could inspire them to get into swimming. The main question is, do you have any holidays booked this year? If you don’t but your planning on it, maybe you should consider diving holidays. They may be a little pricier than your average holiday but the prices are falling dramatically.
What you want to do is take them on one of these holidays and really get them involved in it. There is a chance this experience could inspire them to take up swimming so that when you get back home they have a fun avenue of exercise to take up.
The main point to this is trying something that may cost a little bit for one time. Then when they have tried it they will become enthralled in it and then it can spark off several different avenues for them. Another interesting one is to go out and go on a Safari; these are great for inspiring environmental thinking, leading to hiking trails or any other things outside back at home.

Is the Majestic Cruise Liner damaging the environment?
Cruise ships are truly massive. These ships can hold many tourists and have a wide array of staff. Because of all this, they can then generate a huge amount of waste products, and they then don’t know what to do with it?
Well many of them do dispose of their waste when they get back to port, sensibly and cleanly. It goes without saying that some of these cruise liners believe they can get away with dumping this waste in the ocean. They simply cannot contain all of the waste in the cruise ship and are forced to release it into the open water. This “dumping” is unacceptable if we want to keep the oceans in clean areas like the Caribbean clean. About five years ago they generated around 30,000 gallons of sewage per day. There is not another new study to show the increase of this today.
However this isn’t the main problem. The biggest issue is the air pollution that these cruise liners create. The Engines that these beast like machines use, create immense amounts of pollution damaging everything around them. In 1991 the British bought over 190,000 cruise deals, when it reached 2001 this number had increased by 400% to 770,000. As far as we are concerned this number could rise another four hundred percent in the next ten years. St Lucia holidays have become very popular, the St Lucian government has even banned some cruise liners from entering its waters.
One thing is for sure though, either we find a new way to power these Cruise ships or we are going to have to forget about them altogether. If you’re thinking of going on Barbados holidays or having weddings abroad, then think quickly before the Caribbean is just another victim of pollution. Soon some of these wonderful places will be so damaged that we wont want to or be able to visit them.

Travel Europe : Where To Stay In Paris
It’s tough to answer the question of where to stay while in Paris, because there are a lot of fantastic places.
The best place to start would probably be choosing which district fits you best. Paris holds twenty districts to pick from, and so to prevent this from being a burden, you ought to section off your options into the two most popular regions: the left and right banks. Then choose your districts based on which inn or hotel suits you best in those specific districts.
The left and right banks are the left and right sides of the Seine, the river that flows through the center of Paris, dividing it basically in half. The Seine flows westward which means when referring to the left bank one usually means the southern half of Paris and the right, the northern portion of the city.
This makes finding your chosen hotel a great deal easier. While the two banks make up a essential whole, they differ from each other in significant ways.
The left bank is for you if you like fashion, art, or the Bohemian lifestyle. It is the epitome of Parisian popular culture and offers many varied and interesting shops, buildings, historical sites, and funky architecture and people. There are plenty of interesting hotels, inns, and bed and breakfasts, there at some of the more reasonable prices in Paris.
The right bank is where you will find the sophistication and refinement one thinks of when Paris is mentioned. It also houses the famous L’Arc de Triomphe and the Champs Elysees in the business district. It is considered very metropolitan and the neighborhoods are very affluent and beautiful with contrasting architecture from classical to very modern.
